Ambassador David Puig participates in GRULAC lunch with Minister Jaishankar
New Delhi – Ambassador David Puig participated in the lunch hosted on 19th August 2022 by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of India, S Jaishankar, for the Ambassadors of the Latin American and Caribbean countries in New Delhi.
Coordinated by the Ambassador of Mexico in New Delhi, Federico Salas, in his capacity of GRULAC temporary chairmen, this initiative was the occasion to share views about the relations between India and the different countries of the Latin American and Caribbean region.
This exchange took place hours before the departure of S Jaishankar to South America, where he is scheduled to visit Paraguay, Brazil and Argentina.
After the meeting, Minister Jaishankar expressed through his twitter account the pleasure to host “Ambassadors in New Delhi from the Group of Latin America and the Caribbean countries- Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Jamaica, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Suriname and Uruguay.”
“So much potential for growing our cooperation. Encourage their efforts to realizing it fully. Thanked them for their perspectives and insights as I head to the region tonight,” he added.
