Dominican movie “Insular" world premiere at Goa Film Festival 2023

New Delhi - The Dominican film "Insular," directed by Héctor Valdez, celebrated its world premiere at the 54th edition of the prestigious International Film Festival of India (IFFI), also known as the "Goa Film Festival". The film earned its spot in the festival's World Cinemas section, marking a significant milestone  for the cinema of the Dominican Republic. Actress

The world premiere screening was held on 27th November, with the presence of
the actress Paloma Palacios, who represented the director and the rest of the crew of “Insular” at the Festival.  

The participation of "Insular" at IFFI Goa 2023 was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Dominican mission in India and the General Directorate of Cinema of the Dominican Republic.
