Dominican diplomat takes part in the Raisina Forum for Future of Diplomacy 2023

New Delhi- The Dominican Republic diplomat, Diana Infante Quiñones, participated in the Raisina Forum for Future of Diplomacy 2023. The event, held at the Taj Palace Hotel in New Delhi from October 6 to 15, gathered young global leaders and experts in the field of diplomacy.

Organised and hosted by the Observer Research Foundation and the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, the 2023 edition of the Raisina Forum featured insightful discussions and dialogues on crucial diplomatic issues, providing a forum for leaders to share perspectives and collaborate on solutions to pressing global challenges. Ms. Infante's active engagement in these discussions showcased the commitment of the Dominican Republic to contributing constructively to the diplomatic discourse on the international stage.

The Raisina Forum is an annual ten-day policy workshop, which brings together 35-40 young diplomats from across the world.   It aims to build a network of diplomats engaged with political and economic developments with the capacity to analyse emerging and complex global issues with an eye to their interlinkages across nations and regions.  It also seeks to foster the skills required to lead in a rapidly changing world, and focuses on health, cyber governance, climate change and energy, new political geographies, instruments of development cooperation, and emerging models of multilateralism.
